Apple Offers a Free Service

ShoutBloger: Apple offers a free service for users of Mac, iPhone and iPod touch that is broken specifically for victims of the earthquake that hit Japan in last March.

MacNN reports that Apple gives special offers for quake-affected gadgets. Service This free service will be valid until 30 June through the Apple Japan site. Similarly, as quoted from the PC Advisor on Tuesday May 17, 2011.

Customers are advised to call the nearest Apple retail store to schedule their repair damaged devices.

Apple said the service could be conducted at any time prior to 30 June. iPod touch is the only kind on offer iPod repair.

Previously Apple Store Japan also offers a refuge for victims of the earthquake in March last. In addition, Apple staff also offers Wi-Fi users so they can communicate with her family.

Post-earthquake last March, CEO Steve Jobs sent a message to all his staff, promising support to deal with the crisis.
