Motorola blamed stealing patents

ShoutBloger: Mobile phone manufacturer Motorola Mobility facing charges from a company called Intellectual Ventures. Motorola accused of using six patents owned by them.

The patent in question, found on Motorola phones based on Android. Reported by the BBC on Monday October 10, 2011, Intellectual Ventures has accused Motorola Mobility using their technology related to file transfers, updates and remote data management and other functions in some Android smartphone them.

Both reportedly have been discussing a deal to license these patents since January. Because the agreement is not reached, Intellectual Ventures is now registering his complaint.

Intellectual Ventures is a company based in Washington, the United States and has more than 35,000 patents.
