93 Thousand of PlayStation Network accounts disabled

ShoutBloger: Sony to close approximately 93 thousand suspicious accounts on PlayStation Network, the reason for network security.

As quoted by AFP on Thursday October 13, 2011, the Sony said that today they have closed 93 thousand accounts in their PlayStation online network, after detecting an attempt to sign in which no official, several months after data leak they are very massive by hackers.

Sony party said that the effort went unofficial sign-in took place on 7 and October 10, from approximately 93 thousand accounts of the PlayStation Network, Sony Entertainment Network and Sony Online Entertainment.

Besides the giant Japanese electronics company said that credit card data associated with these accounts are not exposed to the risk of illegal entry attempt.

Currently Sony temporarily shut down the accounts and continues the investigation of the activity. Sony also will warn users who legitimately hold the account to reset their passwords.
