Toshiba launches AT200 Android tablets which is thinner than the iPad 2

ShoutBloger: Toshiba has launched its latest multi-touch Android tablet 'Toshiba AT200 Honeycomb tablet'. The device has a 10.1-inch backlit screen 1280x800 HD, with a thickness of 7.7 millimeters, which means only 1.1mm thinner than the iPad 2 and 5 mm thinner than the iPad 1, and weighs just 558 grams (19.7 oz).

using the Android OS 3.2 (Honeycomb), and also features a micro-USB, micro-SD card, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. Toshiba micro-AT200 also has an HDMI port that allows to stream HD content to a separate television set, rear camera 5 mp and 2-megapixel camera on the front, while the Cortex A9 1.2GHz processor TI OMAP 4430 CPU and 1 GB of RAM memory. Besides having a thin body, one of the distinguishing features of the Toshiba AT200 is an audio playback capability.

A system called Adaptive Sound Enhancer Device reported using an algorithm to produce a sound similar to the quality of large-sized speakers of two 1.5 watt stereo speakers on the tablet.

Toshiba AT200 Honeycomb tablet also take advantage of Masking Sound Equalizer from Toshiba to identify the voices of external cover or distort the audio playback, then raise his voice to compensate for the voice.

Application of this standard on a tablet including Adobe Flash Player, Android Market, Toshiba Places and Toshiba Media Player. This tablet battery can last for approximately eight hours of video playback.
