Nokia will layoff 3,500 employees in Europe and the U.S.

ShoutBloger: Nokia has decided to layoff 3,500 employees in Germany, Romania and the United States before 2013.

As quoted from NDTV on Thursday September 29, 2011, companies in the world's largest mobile phone maker, Nokia, said that they planned to terminate 3,500 employees in Romania, Germany and the U.S. by the end of 2012.

Nokia plans to close its plant in Cluj, Romania, at the end of 2011 and also plans to discontinue its plant in Bonn, Germany and Malvern, United States, at the end of next year, said the Finnish company said in a statement.

Termination is also an additional operational from previous layoffs as much as 30 thousand jobs and three thousand jobs were outsourced by the phone since April. The action was conducted by Nokia on the grounds of corporate restructuring efforts.

In addition, Nokia also indicated that there will be layoffs again for the future, which will probably lead to their factory in Salo Finland, Hungary and Komarom Reynosa Mexico in 2012.
