Yahoo plans to merge with AOL?

ShoutBloger: Many of the rumors that Yahoo and America Online (AOL) plans to re-discuss the merger of two companies.

According to Bloomberg news, Tim Armstrong, CEO of AOL, is discussing the possibility with the Yahoo. This development is a continuation of the dismissal of CEO Carol Bartz earlier this week.

But the opposite, a report from CNBC mentions that Yahoo is not interested party to the merger with AOL.

As quoted by Mashable on Saturday September 10, 2011, this is not the first time the issue of merger of Yahoo to the surface. Yahoo had previously said that considering the move after rejecting the planned purchase by Microsoft in 2008.

Due to the current position of the two companies are no longer on top, then this rumors was again raised to the surface. Analysts see the future, the rumor might be true.

America Online (AOL) is a media company and a global Internet services from the United States. The company was established since 1991.
