RIM Bring Facebook to BlackBerry Playbook

ShoutBloger: Research In Motion (RIM) announced a new Facebook application to the BlackBerry Playbook tablet, following the previous successful Facebook application for your BlackBerry phone.

With this new Facebook application, users can interact with your friends easier and faster. While looking for and add new friends, users can also open the profiles, photos, videos and interact with a posting on the wall simultaneously.

There are more than 30 million users of Facebook on your BlackBerry Playbook tablet, now with Facebook for BlackBerry Playbook we are able to offer to users of social networking experience that is optimized for BlackBerry Playbook, including the ability to share photos and videos of up to HDTV, said Tom Goguen, vice president, Collaboration and Social Networking of Research In Motion (RIM) as TMC News reported on Wednesday May 04, 2011.

It would be easier for Facebook users to upload photos from your BlackBerry Playbook Picture Library, tag friends in photos, see the comments and like. Playbook also can be connected to a HD TV to display photos and video.

Chat messaging features are also shown at the Facebook Notifications bar, it makes the user can read and respond to chat messages while opening a friend profile and status.

BlackBerry Playbook Facebook application is expected to be available soon in BlackBerry App in May.
