Skype on Android Malware Easily compromised

/ On : 5:52 AM/
ShoutBloger: Using Skype on the Android should be extra careful. Based on recent findings, VoIP and Video Chat application is vulnerable to malicious programs that can be compromised to steal users personal data.

Just imagine if all personal data such as numbers and credit card account passwords stored in your Android smartphone is stolen when opening Skype.

As quoted from Engadget on Sunday April 17, 2011 it turns out malicious programs that infiltrate through the chat log files of Skype on Android. Known malicious programs that infiltrate has SQLite3 database file.

Hopefully, the Skype immediately closes this hole by encrypting the file, so as not to be accessible to some people. With the increasing number of Android users, it seems more and more cyber criminals who target them.
