Dell Delays Launch of Windows 7 Tablet

ShoutBloger: Dell plans to launch Windows 7 based tablets should be delays until around September.

Last February, Dell introduced a Windows 7 based tablet sized 10 inch prototype aimed at business people on the Dell Means Business event in San Francisco. Tablets that will carry the Windows 7 operating system with Intel as a kitchen.

Dell will market the tablet in mid year, or around June. However, as reported in Ubergizmo, Tuesday April 5, 2011, a company headquartered in Texas, decided to postpone until the fall release schedule.

Unclear why the tablets would not be marketed early, considering Dell is long enough to talk about this product, to be exact since October 2010. Moreover, Dell competitors such as HP and Asus also has launched a Windows 7 based tablets.

Could be, Dell chose to focus on Android tablets Streak 7 to be released in the second quarter of 2011. 7 inch tablet that uses the Android OS 2.2 (Froyo) and NVIDIA Tegra 2 mobile processor.

In addition, tablet Streak 7 also has a 1.3 megapixel front camera and behind the 5 megapixel camera, and memory 16 GB hard drive that can add up to 32 GB.
