Accidents due to use Smartphones while Driving

/ On : 9:34 PM/
If you are a Smartphones user, you must be careful if you calling or write an SMS with your Smartphones while driving.

Some survey conducted by Strategy Analytics reported that 38 percent of users of smartphones in the U.S. and 40 percent of users of smartphones in Western Europe often write an SMS while driving every day.

Other findings from the research firm also said that 40 percent of users of smartphones in the U.S. and 42 percent in Western Europe prefer to read an SMS while driving should stop the vehicle rather than just to read the SMS.

According to Strategy Analytics, this figure is almost double than the results obtained in the same survey, involving basic Smartphones users.

In the U.S., according to Strategy Analytics, e-mail on smartphones is also one thing that can distract the driver. 25 percent of smartphones users every day to read email while behind the wheel, while 40 percent of respondents claimed to be able to write emails and send them while driving a car.

This survey shows that work done while driving, although only two seconds, can increase the risk of accidents. Regulations that prohibit the SMS while driving was not able to eliminate this practice so that consumers must be given an alternative way to avoid this, said Chris Schreiner, Director of the Automotive Consumer Insights Service Strategy Analytics.

Kevin Nolan, VP of User Experience Practice recommends that drivers use technology such as speech recognition a manner designed to reduce accidents while driving.
